Yeah, Odumbo can throw a trillion or so at Detroit as part of a jobs creation program. Then they will have to hire whitetrash and illegals to do the work because you won't get the Blacks to do anything. The after the whitetrash and the illegals have done all the work for pay less than the value of their efforts, and after the illiterates like that school board nog have skimmed off their portions and funneled a good chunk back to the Jews, there it is, new and improved Detroit. And within 12 months, it will be a desecrated testament to the filth, graffiti, drugs, violence, prostitution, gangbanger lifestyle of these same people who currently CHOOSE to create and live in the squalor of rundown slums.
Every "Project" has always failed. Look at Odumbo's own Chicago and all the scary "Projects". 169% Failure rate with all kinds of public money siphoned off to the fraud of the people in control, many of whom are Odumbo's friends and supporters there.
If you put slum people in Beverly Hills mansions, BH becomes a SLUM.
That's the history of Detroit.
That's the story of Obama's aunt.
"The truth about things is just someone with an axe to grind! People who tell the truth are conspiracy theorists and suicidal maniacs just waiting to go off!"

Maybe you can get a job on television JewNews and spew your froth. They are always looking for stupid people, liberals, gays, and others with no brains to read their teleprompter lines for fame and wealth.
1.Go with a modified phase based process similar to the process discussed in the article. Hopefully yuppies and others will come in and buy into the rural concept and villages. Have a certain section strictly for food production to give to the county./city food banks. Have a large farmers market to help sustain the lack of chain supermarkets in the city. Hopefully if it does work within a few years further gentrification can take place and community transit/rails may be incorporated.
2. Let a third party company or institution come in and try to save whats left of the city. I don't really see that happening.
Look things are getting bad, I mean you know your city is messed up when it is the perfect setting for a remake of Red Dawn. Detroit is an awesome city and I really really hope this concept can take off and save some of it (city) at least .
Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Flint, MI was also thinking about doing this to a point as well?

If they removed the niggers, the yuppies would buy up everything and create a wonderful place in no time.

Until we end our violence against the earth- a matter ignored by most pacifists, as the issue of military violence is ignored by most conservationists-how can we hope to end our violence against each other? Another waste of taxpayer $$. Detroit is already a model of government programs combined with local corruption. Why should we think this new one will be any different?

Obvious answer. It won't be.
You could very well be right. The current alternative is to do nothing. And that's not working out well at all.

RE: Flint, Michigan - According to wiki the city is in the process of tearing down abandoned homes in some of the outlying areas in order to reduce the city to a level where the population can support it. As of June 2009, approximately 1100 homes have been demolished, with one official estimating another 3000 more will have to be torn down.
We are obviously not talking about the same thing. The article is talking about urban blight which is covered by homes that for the most part have nobody living in them. Tens of thousands of mostly-vacant homes with many more tens of thousands of vacant lots interspersed between the homes.

Start a homes for homeless program which entails reducing the police force and no longer patrolling areas with abandoned homes.
