When I got here in 1993, it wasn't all that great and the rents were high. It didn't feel like a world class city. Shitty run down movie theaters, no place decent to shop, etc etc.

Now the rents are still high but all the money that has come into town has bumped it up a notch for sure. It's getting within striking distance of NYC and I think we will get there with 15 years if the economy plays along.

Unfortunately, if you are poor, you can get the fuck out.
