Housing market is booming again. Moderately priced homes are getting snapped up right away after receiving a few dozen offers.

But then there's the other half of society that could never imagine owning a home or even a share of stock. They live paycheck-to-paycheck and struggle to pay their rent each month. Our government's solution? Import even more of them from Mexico and Asia.
I fix my fucking garage door opener about every 10 days or so. The force adjustment knob keeps getting messed up and I have to go up and down the ladder, adjusting/testing/adjusting/testing....
I mow my own lawn instead of paying a Mexican to do it. My next door neighbor pays his Mexican $50 a month for gardening services. It's cheaper to do it myself, and I get a little exercise.
The city is very small and walkable, and everybody speaks English. Check out airbnb for some good deals on apartments in the city.
Spend at least 1 day just walking around and taking in the sights. You can also rent bikes and ride around the city, I rode my bike on the bike path down the Amstel River a few miles and back. It was a nice afternoon.
I can't comment on the marijuana aspect, because I'm not into that. However, the beer is amazing. You NEED to go to this beer garden/brewery....the beer is cheap and very high quality, and it's 90% locals:
The Red Light District can be fun. You can get a quick date with a Eastern European whore for only 50 Euros. For that price, you get 20 minutes and 1 or maybe 2 positions.
Or, for something slightly more sleazy, check out the Jan Bik whorehouse. It's a tiny little place, crowded on weekends, but you can buy a beer and take a whore upstairs to a bedroom and fuck her brains out for a pretty cheap price. He has locations all over Holland, and I also visited the one in Haarlem:

These clubs are getting better. Every single girl I interacted with basically propositioned me for sex. It was awesome.

The nude places are mostly just brothels now. Typically you pay $60 to the club for 3 songs in the "VIP" room, or $100 for 5 songs. They have discounts on certain slow days like Monday and Tuesday.
In order to do this, you pay at the bar and the girl gets a ticket. I assume she splits this money with the club, but I don't know for sure.
Any extra services are paid directly to the girl, and the club officially has no knowledge of it. Except everybody knows that everybody's getting laid and paying for it.
The titty bars (with alcohol) are not like this. The girls are usually better looking and they don't have private rooms.
